Refund and Returns Policy
At Helade & Sola, each piece is produced and presented with close attention to material, finish, and design integrity. Many of our items are made in limited quantities, and a significant number are one-of-a-kind. For this reason, we ask that customers review product descriptions, dimensions, and images carefully before placing an order.
- General Policy
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, preference changes, or orders placed in error. We only accept returns and issue refunds or store credit in limited circumstances, as set out in this policy.
- Items Eligible for Return Review
A return may be considered only where:
- the item received is materially different from the item ordered
- the item arrives damaged in transit
- the wrong item was sent
Any request for return review must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
To request a review, the customer must email with:
- full name
- order number
- clear photographs of the item
- photographs of the packaging
- a brief description of the issue
- Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- one-of-a-kind items purchased as shown
- items correctly delivered as ordered
- minor variations in leather grain, textile placement, embroidery placement, or hardware tone
- natural markings, texture variation, or tonal differences inherent in leather or hand-finished materials
- items damaged through use, mishandling, improper storage, or normal wear
- sale items or promotional items, unless they arrive damaged or incorrect
- any item marked as final sale
Because our products may incorporate artisan processes, hand-finished detailing, and limited materials, slight variations are part of the character of the item.

- Condition of Returned Items
If a return is approved, the item must be sent back in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging, dust bags, tags, and protective materials intact. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or apply a partial refund if the returned item shows signs of wear, handling damage, or missing packaging.
- Refunds
Where a return is approved after review, we may offer one of the following, depending on the circumstances:
- a full refund to the original payment method
- store credit
- an exchange, where appropriate and available
Refunds are not issued until the returned item has been received and inspected.
Original shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are non-refundable except where the error was ours.
- Return Shipping
If the return is approved because the wrong item was sent, or because the item arrived damaged, we will advise on the appropriate return process.
In all other approved cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. Helade & Sola is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
- International Orders
For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import charges, local taxes, or clearance fees required by the destination country. If a parcel is refused by the customer, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid duties or failure to receive delivery, shipping charges and any related return costs may be deducted from any approved refund.
- Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been processed for shipment or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
- No Custom Orders
Helade & Sola does not accept custom orders. All products are sold as presented and subject to availability.
